This is a nice little pocket knife. (I may have to sand off the embarrassing "Doom Blade" moniker or just leave it as a joke.) The fit and finish are very high quality. I am actually impressed. The joint is smooth and tight and sharpened on both sides - I've gotten an 8in chef knife with a 'one sided bevel' - and the strange concave area towards the hilt might be good for rough whittling. The wood scales are a little roughly finished and I'll sand them a bit-2 minutes. Overall I would not be surprised at a the price tag - might even pay more if that's what I was looking for. This was an afterthought on an order I was already placing, but I may order a few to have on hand for unexpected need of a gift. Definitely not embarrassed about the blade itself. C. S.
